For
more than a hundred years, New Jersey has been one of the premier
research areas in the United States. Since Edison's telegraph and
light bulb, the state has had a reputation as an ideal environment
and commercial success.
Now,
New Jersey is in an exciting new era of scientific discovery, with
the development of an innovative, state-of-the-art research facility-
The Technology Centre of New Jersey.
The
Centre has been specifically designed to meet the needs of emerging
research and development companies in the biosciences, micro electronics,
advanced materials and communications technologies industries.
This
project is a unique partnership between the New Jersey Economic Development
Authority and the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust. Situated on over
50 acres, in the nation's hub for biosciences and telecommunications
research and development, it has quickly become one of the most exciting
real estate projects in the Northeast, and the rest of the country
as well.
